I use my iCal on my iPhone for most appointments and events. However, I’m an old-fashioned calendar gal who still likes a hard copy wall calendar to keep in my office or kitchen. I like to see the month’s activities on one page and know when to send out birthday wishes to family and friends.

Some of my favs are the popular New York Times Crossword and Mini Crossword Page-A-Days (I’m a big fan of the Mini Crossword and do it each morning online). There’s also Cooking Page-A-Day with recipes to inspire foodies all year long.” (I subscribe to the Cooking app which has great recipes.) According to Workman these calendars sold out last year, so if you’re interested in purchasing as holiday gifts be sure to buy them early. All can be ordered on the Workman website.

Some of my fav wall calendars are two focused on mindfulness and yoga. A Calendar of Calm with pictures and quotes for a tranquil life and Yoga is My Happy Place showcasing joyful bodies of different shape, size and identity in illustrated poses. As a yogi I hope to renew my meditation and yoga practice in 2025 which dwindled somewhat this past year.
