My Curious Colleague interview

This week I was interviewed on “My Curious Colleague” podcast. The host of the podcast is a former colleague from my corporate days, Denise Vennieri. Denise usually interviews experts in the consumer products industry. Newly retired, she was interested to talk about what it’s like when you leave the business world and embrace retirement. An exciting phase of life or as some like to call it “your second act.”

I thought my readers might enjoy my thoughts about this subject — whether retirement is way in the future, right around the corner, or you’re also a retiree newbie — there’s lots to think about.

Looking back now as I approach my 13th year since leaving my full-time corporate communications career, I feel as though my life is ever evolving. So, my retirement rhythm continues to change —  whether it’s caused by external factors like the worldwide pandemic; from internal factors including my aging body which some days limits my physical abilities; or from positive events such as the birth of my granddaughter Z and my major move and merger with my boyfriend E.
